Results and Targets to Kick Off 2016

Written by Mark Holloway, SVP Executive Director

In 2015, we developed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to report activity against our four Strategic Objectives. The KPIs are intended for Board review quarterly and full Partnership review at our Annual Partners Meeting. We hope this strengthens everyone’s confidence in our Partnership’s performance and accountability and rallies support around resources needed to achieve our goals and targets.

As you review the results and targets, we ask that you note what you learned, where you have questions or need for clarification, and where you feel something could be improved. Then let us know! We expect that this initial review of annual results will inform improvements to the content, assumptions and process in order to report more meaningful findings in the future. We have highlighted below several key results and targets on which to focus. We will also highlight and expound on some of these in your Annual Partners Meeting data packet.

A few initial notes:

  • Staff has collected input from all committees to inform current KPIs and targets.

  • As we pilot this tracking and analysis of data, we continue refining assumptions for collecting and calculating data in order to ensure quality and consistency of reporting.

  • These are simply outputs and (with a few exceptions) do not reflect the quality or outcomes of SVP’s work. We are utilizing or developing other tools for those purposes.

  • We believe that taken collectively, the KPIs drive us towards our community-level impact goals.

We hope that, in general, these provide a sense of where we are making progress and where we have room for improvement.
