SVP Expands Its Partnership

We have been lucky enough to secure partnerships with several Portland businesses and deepen others. These partnerships not only allow SVP to tap into the great minds of some of local businesses’ best, but they also give corporations access to all the benefits of being an SVP partner – from human resources to marketing and public relations expertise.

This month, we wanted to give a special shout out to three of our exceptional partners: Catalyst Law, Intel and our newest Partner, Pacific Continental Bank.

Over the past year, our friends at Catalyst Law have provided leadership and business and legal insight to develop our approach to impact investing, This is an investment opportunity that incentivizes socially conscious investors to contribute investment capital funds toward social goals in addition to donated funds. Through this fund, and working together with community partners, SVP will enhance transformational leadership and have the potential for significantly deeper impact in our R4K goal. Catalyst Law has also developed a summary of new employment law in Oregon for our Investees. The team at Catalyst is commited to promoting social change and sustainable communities. They specialize in trusts & estates as well as business, nonprofit, social enterprise and philanthropy matters. They are also launching a social enterprise, Catalyst Law Institute, to “revolutionize access to and delivery of basic legal services, information, and support of underserved people, businesses, and nonprofits.”

After partnering with Intel for years and benefitting enormously by their commitment to sponsoring Encore Fellows (more than 250 sponsored and counting!), we were thrilled to see their donation match program come to life last year. To commemorate International Human Rights Day, Intel employees and retirees donated a total of $59,700 to non-profits nationwide, with the company providing a 2:1 match ($114,400). Pacific Continental Bank is our newest partner. They have been our bank for years and have sponsored several Encore Fellows and couldn’t be more excited to welcome them into the fold as an official Partner. We look forward to what we can achieve together!Know a business that would be a great partner? Let us know.
