SVP Welcomes Darren!

In May, we welcomed Darren Davidson as our Vice President of Operations & Finance, taking over the day-to-day administration from Mark, who will now put his focus on vision-building, strategy, and fund development.

Darren comes to SVP with a strong background in business management, financial analysis, process development, and information technology so it’s no surprise that Darren spent the first months exploring SVP, examining our business practices, and meeting partners. Some small changes were immediate--improving bookkeeping and HR online systems, working closely with the Finance Committee, etc.--with more substantive changes coming as an ongoing evolution of our business processes.

Darren has worked in a variety of industries, from financing to construction, and thus brings a new perspective to our SVP nonprofit realm. Stop by the office or invite Darren out for a beverage or bite to meet him sometime!
