Make Philanthropy a Family Value with SVP Youth

Social Venture Partners Youth (SVPY) is excited to start our 4th year of impact in our community. In previous years, the group has made investments in Peninsula Children’s Learning Center, Children’s Book Bank and the Native American Youth and Family Center. This year we’re changing the format to allow each youth participant to determine which organization they 'd like to work with. This could include our current Investees with a focus on Kindergarten readiness and/or other organizations that spark the passions of our blooming philanthropists.

The goal with SVPY remains the same today as when we launched the program four years ago: helping our youth learn more about philanthropy through volunteering, fundraising, and involvement. As with all SVP initiatives, we strive to make a tangible impact on our community. We think it’s important for the values that our Partners display on a regular basis should be instilled and grown in our children so that they can be forces for change in their communities throughout their lives. SVPY kids range in age from 10-17.
