Pushing Forward with Latino Network

Our Partnership’s support of Latino Network has helped strengthen them to accomplish significant goals over the past three years. They have grown their revenue from $1.3 to $8.2 million in three years. Their early childhood-parent learning program, Juntos Aprendemos, continues to grow year over year. Latino Network expanded to add two more schools in the Tigard Tualatin School District and is now serving 12 schools in the 2017-18 school year. Because of the significant progress we’ve seen with our investment in Latino Network, we have decided to re-invest with them over a two-year period. This investment will total $80,000 and the volunteer talent that our brilliant Partnership provides. The effort will include a comprehensive research and feasibility package detailing how Juntos Aprendemos continues to organically grow but at an accelerated rate and as funding allows. Looking ahead, Latino Network is seeking to build up their operational infrastructure and SVP will help them map out a hiring plan. We look forward to our continuing investment partnership with Latino Network and playing a part in helping Juntos Aprendemos flourish as we continue working together toward the Ready for Kindergarten goal.
